    In the fantastico side,i would like to reinstall the wordpress.So In the install in directory i leave it empty,but when i click to next step the show me this msg.

    The installation can not be completed:

    – You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

    Click on the browser’s Back button to fix reported errors.

    How should i do?how do i delete mt previous setting?thank you so much

  • This is an issue you should take up with your web host. It has nothing to do with WordPress.

    And the error that you are getting means that you have some other application installed in your main directory. You will need to uninstall that one to install wordpress. Either way, if you have more problems, contact your web host for support.

    use the file manager in your web control panel (cpanel?) and delete the wordpress files and folders from your root directory. (public_html in cpanel). Then find the place in Fantastico to tell it to remove the installation it did.

    Then you can install again. It is generally a good idea not to install WordPress in the root directory. Better to install into a folder.

    The problem was that Fantastico keeps a file that is in the .fantasticodata folder and this does not allow you to reinstall it.. If you erase it.. it is everything ok…
