I cannot create a course in the name of a teacher

    My job is to create new courses on behalf of teachers.
    After creating the course I assign the name of the teacher and deactivate my name.
    But with the new update this is no longer possible because the name of the person who created the course cannot be deleted.
    How can I solve this?
    This new update is a disaster and is causing the wrath of my client.

    Dear @macrunner

    This issue happened with WordPress 5.9.2

    In the latest version, you can’t remove the primary author. You can try to change any WordPress page or post author you will see that.

    Please I need to know if you think to fix this problem, this plugin now does not do the things it needs to do anymore and prevents me from doing other things.

    Next, you say this problem occurs from WordPress 5.9.2, so do I need to change CMS?

    Hello @macrunner,

    Just roll back to wordpress 5.9.1 or 5.9.0 version using wp rollback plugin.

    Just a clarification for readers, to downgrade WordPress it would be better to do it manually, however you can use a plugin like WP Downgrade.
    You may have mistakenly mentioned WP Rollback, it is not good for downgrading.

    In any case, after downgrading to version 5.9.1 the problem has not been solved, even when switching to version 5.9.0 or 5.8.4,
    nothing doing…
    A big waste of time and confirmation that the problem is caused by LMS tutor, not WordPress.
