• I have a gallery with public uploaded photos with id=2. I use the codes below to show the slideshow and that works fine but when i try to show the thumbnail page it fails.

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”2″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow”]
    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”2″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”]

I get: “Gallery not found. Please check your settings.”

I have also tried the shortcodes: [ nggallery id=2 ] (without the spaces) and also the “Insert Gallery Windows” that gives me this code:
    <img class=”ngg_displayed_gallery mceItem” src=”http://fkhfred.se/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id–1028&#8243; alt=”” /></p>
and this error message: [Not a valid template]

I can’t upgrade to the pro version until I understand why this is not working so I do hope somebody can give me a hint…..

    Thank you for any help!

@falke – Sometimes you will end up having a “smart” quote (or more) in your parameters for your shortcode and this can cause this error to occur.

Inserting the gallery using the IGW will generally not have this issue, so if that is the case, there may be something corrupted in your installation and it may be necessary for you to manually re-install the plugin via FTP (over-writing all files and folders under /nextgen-gallery/).
