    I have been playing around with it on a test site and I really believe this goes a long way to simplify things for the end user. I am sorry it will create a lot of work for plugin and theme developers, but since the mission statement of WordPress is “to democratize publishing through Open Source, GPL software” I really believe this will simplify things for the end user and that will further the mission.

    I look forward to Gutenberg being the default editor in WordPress. I know in the short term, I will have to recreate my websites, but it looks like they will be cleaner and easier for my clients to maintain, and in the long run that will make me very happy.
