  • You have a theme, function or plugin running the $content twice. That is not normal, but I can put out an update to work around it.

    Update will be released shortly.

    Fix uploaded. Did it work?
If you have a cache plugin you might need to empty the cache

Thanks for the quick update but now the CAPTCHA has disappeared from all of my Jetpack contact forms.

There is a jetpack contact form on both of these pages…

I have tried clearing the cache and I made sure that the Jetpack Contact Form is ticked to on in the plug-in settings.

Can you take another look or do you have any other suggestions?

    Jimmy

I will have to look at the code again. I will let you know what I find

Well I had to revert the changes.

Once you update, it might have the double captcha again.

You may have a conflict with another plugin causing the double content issue.
Temporarily deactivate other plugins to see if the CAPTCHA starts working properly.

Thanks for looking at it again.

I tried disabling all plugins on the site but I still get the same results on the Contact page.

What is strange is that the contact form on the front page only has one CAPTCHA but the one on the Contact page has two. Both pages have the exact same Jetpack Form on them.

@jimmycrow, looking at the source code the double captcha might have something to do with your theme. In the source code one of the captcha is coming from a twitter account.

Have you tried testing one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen or Sixteen?

I tried disabling the twitter plug-in on the site to see if that was it but it wasn’t. It must be some functionality written into the theme. As I looked closer at the page templates I noticed that if put the jetpack contact form in a split column template (like on the front page of the site) the double CAPTCHA went away and everything looked great. I went back to the contact page and redesigned it a bit and now the CAPTCHA works great.

The name of this THEME that is causing these problems is Meteors. I hate it and only used it because my client wanted me to. If this problem occurs with any of your other clients running this theme then you will know what the problem is 🙂

Thanks to both of you for your help.
