I am not allowed to post on Word Press

I can now log into my admin word press,but when I click onto write a post, or any of the other links beneath that one while in the dashboard I am told You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. Am I trying to post in the wrong place I even went back to my file at my server and change the permissions to 600 and still could not get in any help would be greatly appreciated.
