hi, possibly a question a bit out of the ordinary, but i hope that someone can help – logging in remotely

Basically, while I’m still very much in the setup stage, I think I’m doing quite well, with armember on my website. My issue is that, some of my features are used on the go, such as a live sightings board.

As such, I have been creating an app for my website using mit app inventer. I am looking for a way to be able to connect in to the login, from the app so that rights to various restrictions on the website can be identified.

this may be a question to ask of mit app inventer, but there must be a way to allow login from elsewhere. Basically, there are a range of pages within the website that are accessories only to logged in users, and i want to be able to interact with these from within the app.

while I realize much of this will be at the mit app inventer end, logging into armember remotely definitely falls under armember

any help greatly appreciated, even if only directing else where.

If anyone suggests a better way to do this, I’d be interested, but for now, I’ll just use the webpage implanted into mit.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

If you’re looking to create or manage user information, such as fetching usernames and passwords, please note that ARMember follows WordPress standards and synchronizes with WordPress users. You can utilize the WordPress REST API to access user data, within the permissions allowed by the API. This API can be integrated to pass user information as needed.

Please note that ARMember also offers its own API services for membership management. However, these are not supported in the ARMember Lite version.

For more details, you can refer to the WordPress REST API documentation: https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/reference/users/

We hope that this information helps!

    Thanks!
