  • You’ll want to edit the theme’s style.css. Find the following code and change auto to none if you prefer.

    .site-content {
    	-webkit-hyphens: auto;
    	-moz-hyphens:    auto;
    	-ms-hyphens:     auto;
    	hyphens:         auto;
    	word-wrap: break-word;
    }

    Changes to theme files are lost when the theme is updated – it’s much better to use a child theme or custom CSS option or plugin.

    Nice catch, WPyogi. I usually mention this but forgot this time. Thank you.

    Thank you so very much for the suggestions!

    Would I use the same changes to the code in a child theme?

    And could you recommend a plugin for this kind of change?

    You could use Jetpack.

    Activate the Custom CSS feature and apply the changes suggested above.

    Thank you! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
