Format Cells as Text
- If you want the minus sign or hyphen to appear as text and not affect calculations:
- Select the range of cells you want to adjust. ex that entire column
- Go to Format > Number > Plain Text.
- And the minus signs should display correctly without being calculated.
Check for Automatic Formatting or Corrections
- In Google Sheets, the Auto-correct feature may replace certain characters. To disable auto-corrections:
- Go to Tools > Preferences and check for any automatic replacements that could be affecting your entries.

The value arrives with the (-) sign but it is being ignored. It was working in a previous version of the plugin.
I also followed the instructions I sent, but I had no success.

Due to security reasons, we have removed those characters but
Have you tried the following
Format -> Number -> Custom Number Format as -##.##########
Let us know if that doesn’t work.
Also, please let us know which type of Field ( Number, text ) you are using for the latitude and longitude data and which third plugin you are using for it.

It should be noted that the solution presented does not cover general problems, especially with regard to the criteria needed to deal with latitude and longitude numbers, which can be positive or negative and operate in a global context.
