Can I include a web link or email link within the content? I read on a support post 1.3 years ago this will be a feature in the next release. How’s it done? Thanks.

  • I’m able to do it within the custom HTML section, I guess it’s not possible within the basic editor?

Last question, for tonight anyway haha, is it possible to embed an image in the custom HTML?

I’ve tried it and see a broken image picture. I’ve tried relative and global URLs. FYI it’s a .png

    Thanks

    Hi,
I can confirm that the following tags will be allowed in content on Monday <p> <a> <b> <strong> <i> <br> <img> I know we said to fix that months ago but somehow it slipped through the cracks. Sorry 🙁

Till Monday have a look at the PRO version – https://comingsoonwp.com/ it has a WYSIWYG editor so you can easily add anything to the content.

That’s great, but shouldn’t work in the custom HTML?

In the custom HTML field, you can use any code. Absolutely no restrictions.

Thanks. Any ideas why I get a broken image? What’s the relative path of your plugin, is it in the main directory where index.html would reside? Thanks

The path is installation specific, so I can’t give an exact answer but it’s definitely not root. Open the page with the broken URL, fire up the inspector and see to what the path resolves and correct it.
