# Hyperlinks not clickable

 * Has the “Lite” (Free) version of the plugin never supported clickable/followable
   hyperlinks inside embedded PDFs on a WordPress site?
 * Or did you recently block this functionality in the Free version as a way to 
   get users to pay for a Pro subscription?

 * To answer your question directly: clickable hyperlinks have always been a Premium-
   only feature in PDF Embedder. This has not changed, and nothing has been removed
   from the free version. The Lite version has never supported clickable links inside
   embedded PDFs.
 * If hyperlinks are important for your use case, upgrading to Premium will enable
   both internal links within the document and external links to other URLs. You
