• I’ve used the Arbitrary text/html widget to add some hyperlinks in the footer of my site. In Chrome, Opera, Firefox, IE7, and IE8, the links work fine. I’ve also tried adding the text widget to the sidebar and putting the links there. Nothing works.

In IE6, the links don’t work, and only static text is displayed. I have quadruple checked the hyperlink code, so I’m sure it’s not something simple like a missing closing tag or ‘>’.

I’ve tried directly inserting the hyperlink code into the footer.php file of the theme, but that doesn’t work either.

Has anyone else run into this problem? How can I fix it? I’m using a modified iDream theme, found here: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/idream

Sadly, I cannot choose to not support IE6, as a significant portion of the site’s visitors use it.

    Thanks in advance.
