    does the link button work on other non-FAQ (i.e posts and pages)?

    No, it didn’t. Apologies, I was a bit premature putting up my request as I discovered subsequently that linking didn’t work on the pages or posts either – greyed those out in the same way. So started looking around the theme I was using – not sure what I’ve put right, but now, in the last hour, the hyper-linking seems to be working again across everything, including FAQ Manager – it’s a great way of managing questions that are re-used in different parts of the site.

    no problem at all. I know TinyMCE can be real testy at times anyway, so there’s a lot of things that can cause it to go.
