Hyperlink my site shows Sample Page

When I hyperlink my site which only has one page, homepage, for instance in LinkedIn then it shows in the topic Sample Page as text of the hyperlink. How to change this, I was told it is one of the deeper settings in WordPress but I cannot find it. Please help.

You need to do some seo on your homepage use SEO Plugin and modify your home page 🙂

Use Yoast SEO plugin and Change meta data of your home page. And let me know the output 🙂

Search Engine Optimization is not the solution, search engines show my metadata correctly as set. It is only when I copy my website link to in this cases LinkedIn that it shows in the linkname shown the wording “Sample Page”.

Aha this is fun, facebook does it correctly. It shows my metadata as set, only LinkedIn does not apparently.

Try adding ?1 at the end of your URL e.g. https://jjplearning.nl/?1

Actually LinkedIn take time in deleting caches of a URL. Read this https://developer.linkedin.com/docs/share-on-LinkedIn just scroll at the bottom.
