Hybrid Template: Trying to Customize Header

  • Hi there!

I am desperately trying to customize a header using the Hybrid template. I know Hybrid has a forum of its own, but sadly, I cannot afford to sign up for the exclusive membership. I’ve been Googl’ing, reading these forums, and doing some trial-and-error’ing all night.

So, I’m trying to get a site navigation going in the header of the site. There are 8 graphics involved, each linking to a different part of my site.

From what I can find, I would set this up in the header.php file, but no matter what I add in the <div=header> </div> area, it won’t show up on the site. I also read some forums replies that said I should add it to the end of my style.css file, but that didn’t help either!

I’m absolutely desperate for help! I need to finish this website this weekend, and will go without sleep, food, whatever it takes to finish it! 😛

    THANK YOU!!!

  • probably a bit too late, but i´m answering it for posterity.

    copy themes/hybrid/header.php
    to your child theme dir.
    and edit as needed
