((A little bit OT, but it needs exposure.))

HurricaneHelp is a searchable database created to "help connect Hurricane Katrina victims with their friends and family." If you have any information on a Hurricane Katrina survivor, please share your information with the database. If you know of any relatives or friends who have lost their homes, please let them into yours. And, if you would like to help support the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, please donate to the American Red Cross.

HurricAid (Excuse the MT backend) has been in operation for a few days and is a good source for aid information, damage info, animal rescue, insurance, housing, etc.

    There is also a KatrinahelpWiki.

I have also listed resources for aid and various programs that have originated with the auto racing/NASCAR community.

I started a Hurricane Katrina Registry last week that lists victims and their photos and locations. People can search by name or State to find victims and loved ones.

I added a blog to the Regisrty yesterday and it needs work yet and entries but I have been overwhelmed with getting the registry going.
