    Hello,

    I first installed Autoptmize on my website, and then discovered Hummingbird. Now that have all of the Hummingbird features, for the sake of the site’s performance, should I or should I not deactivate Autoptimize?

  • @shabalinse,

    You can use both with caution, but similar features need to be disabled on one of the plugins. For example, if you’re compressing assets in Autoptimize, Asset Optimization module in Hummingbird must be disabled.

    Best regards,

    Anton, thanks for your reply. Taking my question one step further, does it help at all to have them both? Each plugin is an additional load on memory etc., so if I get approx. the same performance using only one, I could deactivate the other.

    @shabalinse,

    I would not recommend using both.

    Best regards,
    Anton
