    Build site http://webmagicsouth.co.uk/astric/ works fine on PC browsers and Android tablet and smartphone. In particular, in landscape format on a Nexus 7" tablet the theme is shown on two columns, which looks and works well. On a Retina 10" iPad, however, it formats as one column, where two columns would be preferable (landscape).

    More disturbing, on the iPad the menu items do not work on a single click. It is necessary to click an item once, at which point it is highlighted, and then any of the menu items will work when clicked. Can anyone shed light, please?

    Try adding the viewport meta tag to your header.php file:

    [ Moderator Note: Please post code or markup snippets between backticks or use the code button. ]

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1">

    Thanks blogjunkie, I already had a 'viewport' tag, and I added the initial-scale and maximum-scale parameters but the site still performs the same (one column, not two) on iPad lansdscape.
