• I’ve been reporting various problems to them for about four months and nothing happens. We are used as testers so that any improvement is introduced into the paid plans.
When you see the team and see that it contains about three programmers and over 15 other people, don’t be surprised that the code is an indescribable mess, written as if by a high school student. The database remains loaded with all kinds of messes that, if you don’t have access to it and a manager like phpMyAdmin, a disaster is left behind.

If you have three tests that contain the same question, introduced by import, the database will contain that question three times. They put, jokingly, a link option to that question, after we drew their attention to it, but which is useless. If you want to import more questions, you no longer have a link, it will still make duplicates.
I told them that the import is done incorrectly and the html code is imported visually, so you wake up to find that all the questions contain <br /> and others specific html codes. You have to save again for each question you imported, right after you made the import. They once again mocked me, saying that the import is OK, saving after importing a single question. I told them that this is exactly the problem, that it is not OK to have to save again after importing. If we have 1000 questions imported, we must be crazy to save again for each question, 1000 times.

The option to randomly choose questions and answers is useless because it is done again in jest and this actually randomize directly the categories, because it is simpler that way. So you can’t make a test that contains some random questions from math, then some from physics, etc. Because it will be a stew of categories mixed together.

But the biggest annoyance was when I pointed out to them that the plugin should have some protection and warnings for involuntary refreshes or unintentional button presses.
They told me that this is a premium option. I was shocked. So, if you scroll a bit more on your phone, the page refreshes and the test restarts, so your work was in vain.

I paid $50 for the cheapest option from another plugin and it has everything I wrote above. And the price is one time. At qsm it is $149 per year the cheapest option that does not contain anything I wrote above.
Anyone who does not believe me can contact me to see what a test done with qsm looks like and what it looks like and what options it has in a test done with the other plugin.
The greed of the people at QSM is incredible.
However, with this review, my “tester” period that I have been carrying out, in the hope that our advice and requirements are still taken into account, has also ended. When you make fun of someone by telling them that “you have to pay so that I can ask you if you are sure you want to close…” that is already rude.

    Hi @dadrian50 ,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced. We understand how important it is to have a reliable and efficient setup—especially when working with large imports and multi-category assessments. Your points about the import process, duplication, and HTML handling are valid and appreciated. We’ve taken note of them and are evaluating improvements to streamline these areas and reduce repetitive tasks.

We also want to clarify that while some features are part of our premium offering due to the resources involved, the free version continues to evolve based on community input from all users. Your feedback directly contributes to that.

The confirmation prompt before refreshing or exiting a quiz is something our development team is already working on, and we’re aiming to include it in an upcoming update. Regarding randomized question selection and category mixing, we recognize the limitation and are exploring how to support more advanced randomization logic based on category-specific rules.

We genuinely appreciate the time you took to explain your experience—it’s clear that you care about quality, and that’s something we value highly. Feedback like yours helps us prioritize the right improvements.

We also kindly ask that all discussions remain respectful and constructive so we can maintain a collaborative support space for everyone.

Thank you again for being part of the community.

    Best regards,
