 * I have recently had an explosion in my option DB on my site it is now 655MB and
   i see that the _transient_aam_post_cache_ seems to be the cause of this.
 * I have tried to find a way to stop/unistall/remove the AAM plugin but it seems
   to leave all of them in the DB.
 * What is wrong that makes these huge transient files and they have no expires
   set either.

 * Hi [@nullset](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nullset/),
 * Thank you for the feedback. AAM has internal caching mechanism that caches access
   settings to the frontend content in mentioned about transient options. This is
   done to speed-up website performance.
 * I’m assuming you have a lot of registered users on your website so this can be
   a reason why you have so many records in the database.
 * Can you please clarify few things:
 * – How many registered users your website has?
    – Do you manage access to your
   frontend content with AAM? – If you manage access to the frontend content, do
   you manage it for individual users?
 * Depending on your answers, I might be able to find work around to optimize AAM
   to your website needs.
 * Keep me updated.
 * Regards,
    Vasyl
