Support » Plugin: Image Gallery - Responsive Photo Gallery » Huge IT Image Gallery Removed From

  • A few weeks ago I created a post regarding a Wordfence warning that The Plugin “Huge IT Image Gallery” had been removed from There were several follow-up posts wanting to know the current status. No answers from the developer. For some reason that post has been completely deleted (links to the post in the associated emails I’ve received are now 404).

Wordfence classifies the issue as “critical” as Huge IT Image Gallery may have compatibility problems with the current version of WordPress or unknown security issues. They recommend removing the plug-in immediately. I have deactivated it on several sites now.

Is there a reason that the original post was removed?

I would like to continue to use this valuable plug-in. Huge-IT continues to market the plugin on their website. Is there a resolution to this issue?

    Additional information would be welcome.

  • Just adding my reply because I want to know the same thing. Sure makes the company look very fishy, especially since they continue to sell it and don’t yet show accountability to existing customers.

Was this resolved since 2 months ago?

What is iffy is their site does not look to be updated since late 2017. See their blog: will remove a plug-in if there is a lack of transparency and accountability on the developers side.

I do not use this plugin, but in the past plugins have been sold to hackers. Possibly this one?

It’s very odd that there’s been no response from WordPress about this (not to mention the original thread being deleted).

After a quick search it doesn’t appear that any of Huge IT’s 16 different WP plugins are available via WordPress so I would steer clear of them for sure.

FWIW I removed all instances of the Huge IT Image Gallery from several installations I manage.

    Wise idea!
