Hueman theme, problems with Internet Explorer 11

    Hello guys,

    I’m having a problem with a misconfigured layout when using Internet Explorer 11.
    I’ve search the forum for solutions, but none solve my case 🙁

    Here is the scenario:

    I have a clean WordPress installation (4.4 Beta 3) in my LAN Server, and have installed the hueman theme(Version: 1.5.4) . Also installed the same solution in a Online free hosting service!

    After creating a couple menus and a test logo for the header, the result is that with google Chrome and firefox both sites look great and are working fine!

    When i tried to access with IE11, from the same laptop, the site in the internet looks good, but one hosted in the Lan is misconfigured! (Horizontal menus, different fonts and colors…)

    If anyone could help me, I would appreciate, I’ve tried accessing the site with some plugins activated, and all deactivated, but the problem continuous..

    I can’t see much difference between both server, and with my laptop accessing with the IE, all sites that I found with the hueman theme look great!

    Hi strex. Welcome to the Hueman forum. I doubt this is a theme problem. My guess would be that either IE isn’t loading the stylesheet, which seems unlikely, or it’s just not applying some of the styles. I wouldn’t have any idea why, other than “it’s IE”. It must have something to do with the environment since it works in one and not the other. Not sure where you would start to look.

    Hi bdbrown,

    Thanks for your reply, finally i found the problem! Don’t know if it is a default policy in IE or a policy enforced by the domain server (user policies), but the IE compatibility settings put by default all Intranet sites in compatibility view, and in my case, the hueman theme don’t work very well.

    You could try to add the “alxmedia.se” domain to the compatibility view, and visit the demo site (http://demo.alxmedia.se/x/?theme=Hueman), for me the demo site gets misconfigured too.
