Nice and quick and easy! * 1st problem propped up when I didn’t get the admin password via email, so i’ve been looking at ways to reset the password. * I found this video [http://educhalk.org/blog/2008/12/how-to-change-your-wordpress-blog-password-using-phpmyadmin/](http://educhalk.org/blog/2008/12/how-to-change-your-wordpress-blog-password-using-phpmyadmin/) to change the password via phpmyadmin. * I found the pdpmyadmin log in page via namesco, logged in no worries! Slected the “admin” user in the WP_users folder. * here’s where i think i’ve gone wrong! Instead of just changing the password, i noticed the email address was incorrect. Good question! On my setup (I use Ubuntu LTS) the log file is in `/var/log/ apache2/error.log` with the normal access log in `/var/log/apache2/access.log` and that’s almost certainly not where yours are… root access to my VPS spoils me. * Give this a read.
