I like what you did with the rollover image in the header, but I find the site very hard to read. The white type on pink background is especially challenging. It also takes a very long time to load. What I really don’t understand is why you obviously put a lot of work into creating this site, and you haven’t posted anything new since June!

Thanks for the input. Yea, I was aware there may be a potential issue with text illegibility, especially in the left column. I think it depends a lot on the type of monitor you have, but I think I found a happy medium here. If anyone else finds it impossible to read I’d welcome the input, as I can easily adjust the contrasts a bit. White on pink for the links is no big deal – most of those have tooltips if you roll-over them anyway.
I’ve been super busy with relocating/finding a new job/ongoing client stuff. I’m just slipping back into a routine of reading/blogging, so stay locked for a bit more action blogside.

I think that is easier to read… however the right hand column colour is easier than the left. Still is quite busy… Think it is maybe the colour that the text is laid on? No sure..

That’s useful feedback yea – thanks. That left-hand column was always going to be a bone of contention readability-wise. I’l see what everyone else thinks and then perhaps ponder changing it.
