Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme (Twenty Sixteen.). If you know exactly what you did wrong, download the problem file via FTP etc., correct the error, then upload the corrected version. Or simply upload the original version of the file if you have that available. * You’ve experienced first hand why you shouldn’t use the theme editor to make changes to the current theme. We advise that everyone make edits through the FTP download/upload cycle, keeping error free backup versions available should they be needed.
