 * I met a below error msg on the first home page and edit pages of posts.
 * [https://widgets.wp.com/languages/notifications/en_US.json](https://widgets.wp.com/languages/notifications/en_US.json)
   404 (Not Found)
    index.js:101
 * My wordpress’s version is 4.3. (it is hosted on godaddy )
 * The adress is [http://techgiddy.com](http://techgiddy.com)
 * **I guess this is the reason.**
    The godaddy product I bought is the cheapest
   one, Basic.
 * **Basic’s plan reads only “SFTP Access”**, while the Deluxe’s plan reads ” SSH/
   SFTP Access” ( page url : [https://www.godaddy.com/hosting/wordpress-hosting](https://www.godaddy.com/hosting/wordpress-hosting))
 * is this the reason?
    If I upgrade to the version supporting SSL, the issue will
   be solved?
 * I just felt that the situation which I ask you is sort of inappropriate ^^;;

   It’s closer to Godaddy;;
 * Anyway if you say something, I’d be grateful.
 * Thanks.

 * We managed to reproduce the issue as well, and we’re working on a fix. You can
   follow our progress here:
    [https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/2698](https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/2698)
 * After testing, we’ll include the fix in the next version of Jetpack, scheduled
   to be released soon.
 * Thank you all for the reports!

 * At this point, I am just chiming in, but yes, I also confirm that this is an
   ongoing issue.

 * Why is this marked as resolved?? I’m still having this issue, and have yet to
   see an update.
 * I can’t believe this isn’t fixed yet—every site we manage that uses Jetpack (
   over 30 sites) now has this 404 error with en_US.json, SSL or no.

 * [@gaswirth](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gaswirth/) The problem should
   be fixed in the development version of Jetpack. We’re currently in a Beta phase,
   and plan on releasing 3.7.1 later this week if all tests are okay.
 * You can install Jetpack Beta on your own sites thanks to the Jetpack Beta plugin:

 * Funny enough, I wasn’t having this issue until the 3.7.1 update I installed today.
 * I now have a console error [https://widgets.wp.com/languages/notifications/es_AU.json](https://widgets.wp.com/languages/notifications/es_AU.json)
   404 (Not Found)
 * Because of this error I can no longer swap in the text editor form visual to
   text.
 * Deactivating Jetpack and clearing the cache resolves the text editor issue.

 * The error you pasted above mentions a country code that does not exist, `es_AU`.
   However, when I visit your site, I see that it uses the proper Australian country
   code, `en_AU`. Have you managed to solve the issue by yourself? Do you still
   see the error when being logged in?

 * Logged in or not, the error is still being served up under jetpack 3.7.1

 * Hi Jeremy,
 * I cleared all cache data from Cloudflare, W3tC and Browser same issue (I have
   an exception from caching for admin user, but performed this anyway). Same issue
   occurs. What I did notice though, if I change my language in WordPress back to
   US English instead of Australian English, the error goes away.
 * Changing my site back to English AU, the error comes back. 404 can’t find resource
