 * I have a wordpress blogs wwww.hairstylesco.com and [http://www.stylesglow.com](http://www.stylesglow.com)
 * In google webmaster tools, Google shows the messages “pages with blocked resources
   with this error ” [http://stats.wp.com](http://stats.wp.com) > /e-201527.js ,
   [http://stats.wp.com](http://stats.wp.com) > /e-201526.js
 * Please tell me either this mistake is from jetpack plugin or somewhere else.
   I have not blocked any page in robots.txt. I have checked there and all pages
   are Ok there. I couldn’t find where is the actual reason. Please tell me.

 * Hi Kashifch
 * mrbuttongame found what was causing these blocked resources stats.wp.com issues.
   Here is the extract of the thread where the problem was identified:
 * > I found what was causing my issues: For some reason, the Jetpack plugin’s site
   > stats tracking feature was doing it.
   > I kept Jetpack and just turned off the
   > stat-tracking feature, and now none of my pages are blocked. Not sure if this
   > is a fix-all – I’m still unsure why this was happening, and it worked well
   > for me because I have Google Analytics and don’t use Jetpack tracking – but
   > it at least seemed to solve the issue.

 * Ok thanku so much nikkoboy.
 * I have really lost my ranking due to this issue. Now I have disabled stats function.
   I don’t know why jetpack plugins’ admin solve this serious issue.
 * So much thanks for guiding me.

 * As [@nikkoboy](https://wordpress.org/support/users/nikkoboy/) mentioned, these
   errors appear because you use the Stats module on your site.
 * You can rest assured, though: such errors will have no negative side-effects,
   and won’t impact your site or its ranking.
 * Google’s [Blocked Resources Report](https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6153277)
   allows you to spot pages on your site that cannot be indexed by Google. It’s
   a good way for site owners to make sure there are no pages that Google can’t
   crawl because of an error, or an unintentional blog.
 * In this particular case, the resource mentioned in the report is not a page of
   your site: it’s the tracking code used by Jetpack to record visits on your site.
 * We’ve recently added [a robots.txt file](https://stats.wp.com/robots.txt) to
   the domain hosting the tracking code, to ask all bots to not index anything on
   stats.wp.com. We do so to prevent well-behaving bots and search engines from
   ever hitting the stats pixel and thus triggering a view in your stats.
    Until
   recently, we maintained a list of these bots and search engines crawlers, and
   excluded them from the stats, but by adding the robots.txt file it allows us
   to be more precise, and to improve the accuracy of your stats.
 * To conclude, you can continue to use Jetpack Stats safely, and ignore these errors.
   As they’re not related to pages hosted on your site, it won’t have an effect
   on your site’s ranking in Google and other search engines.
 * The only effect it will have is a positive one: from now on, Jetpack Stats will
   block more bots, and consequently give you more accurate stats by excluding more
   false visitors from your daily views.
 * I hope this clarifies things a bit. Do not hesitate to let me know if you have
   more questions!

 * Jeremy Herve,
 * I like how you answered to this problem as “this is what it is, and we’re going
   to keep it.”
 * Do you think people like seeing thousands of blocked resources on their Google
   Webmaster Tools? That’s how many I have due to WP Stats update.
 * Guess what? Not going to use WP Stats anymore until this issue is fixed, and
   maybe never again if I get used to using only Analytics.
 * Very stupid move, and an even dumber approach to deal with a problem that you
   have created. Now watch your users drop, because some people use Jetpack ONLY
   for WP Stats.
 * It’s weird to me how people with this type of thought process are managing customer
   relations. What you should’ve done is panic that your update is causing issues,
   yet you seem high and relaxed. Well, good luck.

 * > Do you think people like seeing thousands of blocked resources on their Google

 * Although that may look bad when you first look at it, it’s actually not an issue.
   With time, you’ll see other domains showing up on that page, and that’s okay.
   Many websites and tracking services will choose to block access to some of their
   resources with a `robots.txt` file. If you were to install Google Adsense for
   example, you’d soon start seeing Google’s Adsense domain showing up in your list
   of blocked resources, since they also block indexing with a robots.txt file:

   [http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/robots.txt](http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/robots.txt)
 * > What you should’ve done is panic that your update is causing issues
 * We could revert our changes and allow indexing again, but that would then affect
   the quality of your stats, as a few bots that are not on our blacklist would
   be considered as legitimate users and would then appear in your stats.
 * I took note of your feedback, though, and I’ll see if we can find an alternative.
   We might be able to block every bot but Google Webmaster Tools, thus getting
   rid of the warnings in your panel, while still maintaining the more accurate
   stats. I’ll post again here when I have some news.

 * Good news, we just made that change! Google’s bot is now allowed to parse the
   stats tracking pixel, and we block it from being registered as a visitor in your
   stats.
 * The Blocked Resources errors should consequently disappear as Google keeps indexing
   your site.

 * [@kashifch](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kashifch/) You’ll need to give
   it some time for Google to take the changes I mentioned above into account. The
   errors should disappear gradually, as Google comes back to your site and crawl
   the pages again.

 * This sounds like the same issue I am having but, it does have a business impact.
   My host has now closed down my site due to breaches of CPU limits. I notice an“
   unidentified” bot from IP 192.0.84.33 taking up a lot of bandwidth. It belongs
   to Automattic Inc. Is that where it’s coming from? Have denied it anyway.

   That problem seems quite different from the original report in this thread.
 * Could you please start your own thread, as per the [Forum Welcome](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome)?

   a specific page on your site?

 * I have already mentioned this problem in above post but Jeremy Herve asked me
   to wait for google re-index your site again, But these pages are increasing gradually
   on every new index date.
 * Should I leave to use jetpack? Because it is creating so many problems in last
   two months. Please Solve my issue , will be very very thanks.

 * Google is allowed to crawl pixel.wp.com, as you can see here:
    [http://pixel.wp.com/robots.txt](http://pixel.wp.com/robots.txt)
 * I would consequently suggest that you wait a little longer. As I mentioned earlier,
   this has no effect on your site rankings. You can safely ignore those warnings.
