# HTTPS protocol rewriting NOT for RSS

 * Greetings,
    Similar to the canonical protocol rewriting you recently fixed, we
   need the ability for URL’s in RSS feed content to NOT get rewritten for protocol-
   less.
 * The issue is, if someone is using a web-based feed reader, and the feed content
   contains a protocol-less image URL, that URL won’t work.

 * In fact I think this setting should be set to Off by default, to prevent breaking
   the images on RSS and other things that needs the protocol in the URL.
 * Considering this and that most of the sites (for now) are not using HTTPS having
   it to default On is not a good idea IMHO.

   on HTTP & HTTPS sites. If you can write in to our support team with a specific
