# Https permanet link problem

 * Hi there,
 * i hope anyone can help me. My problem is the following:
 * When i upload a new image to Media Library, it will automatically upload and 
   save on an [https://&#8230](https://&#8230); URL
 * and at the same time will create a permanent link on a [http://&#8230](http://&#8230);
   without “S” , so when trying to display the image it will be blank because it
   doesn’t find it as link says an URL but is saved on another URL.
 * I hope you can understand me, i need to have the image saved on [http://&#8230](http://&#8230);
   and create permanent link on http:// so there is no issue with URL

 * I need to find out why WP is saving on “https” by default in stead of an simple
   http, where do i say this to WP?
