Https (No Green Bar/Padlock)
-
Hi WordPress Community,
I come to you with a problem that I’m unsure how to solve…but is probably easy if I actually knew what I was doing. (Sorry if this is the wrong section)
My knowledge of WordPress isn’t vast at all, nor is my web designing skills. All I do is control the Domain from the Web Hosting side of things and install the occasional CRM/CMS.
I’ve been left with the control of our WordPress site and it wasn’t functioning properly (Person in charge has gone AWOL). It has a SSL Certificate and I was getting an error when typing the URL into the browser saying that it wasn’t redirecting properly. I could see at this point, that my Firefox Status bar was fighting between the https://www and https:// addresses of the site which led to the eventual browser error. I’ve corrected this by destroying the .htaccess file and adjusting the Site Address (URL) and WordPress Address (URL) on the Settings.
That’s all hunky dory…but I’m not getting the Padlock/Greenbar like I should on the address…and, this is where I need help!!1!
In accordance to http://www.whynopadlock.com the reasons I’m not getting the green bar is due to the following:-
Insecure URL: http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400,300,500,600,300italic

Edit:- Would I be able to just add and replace “http” with “https” on all the URLs above to correct my NoPadlock situation?
