 * I have a site where the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) got
changed. I had it set to https:// and the SSL certificate is in place and it
all was well. All of a sudden it changed to http:// and many of the images from
the Media Library were not showing in browsers due to not being secure content.
 * I did NOT make that change. Security and other protective measures show no indication
   of an unauthorized login.
 * I’m trying to figure out how and why those settings got changed from https to
http. Does anyone have any thoughts on how that might have happened?
 * WordPress is current as are all plugins and themes.

 * When you use WordPress for the first time, everything related to the path will
be saved in your database so if you used http it is right that your images are
on http. The url change refers only to the url of the site and the core files.

 * If you don’t use WordPress installed from the package or with a click from your
hosting run this guide for cloudflare.

 * [@autotutorial](https://wordpress.org/support/users/autotutorial/) Thanks for
   your reply.
 * Let me focus on the WordPress Address and Site Address issue. I had those set
with the [https://example.com](https://example.com) domain. At some point they
   got changed to [http://example.com](http://example.com).
 * I did not make that change. Is there something else that may have reset those
two fields to the [http://example.com](http://example.com) URL?

 * constants can also be used by some plugins .. disable all plugins and if you
go back to https tell this to the plugin developer.
 * here are listed all the methods to modify the url. [https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/](https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/)

 * A CONSTANT makes sense. I’ll look for those. Thank you for that idea!
