# https and http redirecting error

 * Hello,
 * In the past i used to run my site on http but later switched to https and then
   finally decided to use [http://](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/https-and-http-redirecting-error/?output_format=md).
   I dont know but my site keeps showing this error beside I also get log off from
   my admin panel every now and then.
 * update wp_WP_SEO_Redirection set redirect_from=REPLACE(redirect_from, [http://www.website.com](http://www.website.com),
   [https://www.website.com](https://www.website.com)), redirect_to=REPLACE(redirect_to,
   [http://www.website.com](http://www.website.com), [https://www.website.com](https://www.website.com))

 * I got the same issue. I fixed it by adding those lines to wp-config.php. However,
   I didn’t find the root cause so if you have it, please share.
 * define(‘WP_HOME’,’[http://www.mydomain.com&#8217](http://www.mydomain.com&#8217););
   
   define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’[http://www.mydomain.com&#8217](http://www.mydomain.com&#8217););
