# Https and Firefox problem

 * Since Firefox 36.0 was updated, it seems to have got more picky.
 * When I load my site, I get this error:
 * Blocked loading mixed active content “[http://alteregovoices.com/?raindrops_color_type=1&ver=7a65286be6a584975b5d99dd52bff367&#8221](http://alteregovoices.com/?raindrops_color_type=1&ver=7a65286be6a584975b5d99dd52bff367&#8221);
 * [https://alteregovoices.com](https://alteregovoices.com)
 * (Chrome and IE still load ok)
 * I have gone through and deactivated all my plugins, so I know it’s nothing to
   do with them.
 * Thank you in advance for any advice.

 * The HTTPS plugin should be handling that redirect, so I’d recommend asking over

 * Ah, hrm. It’s really weird that it’s HTTPS in source, but Firefox thinks it’s
   HTTP and won’t load it. :/
 * Are you running your site through any cache or reverse proxy, like CloudFlare
   or Varnish?

 * Ok, let’s at least try to narrow down the cause.
 * Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme
   to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

 * Have you chatted to you hosting provider? Based on MarkRH’s comment it could 
   be a server setting.

 * Guys – you are all amazing. I have disabled all my plugins, and it’s still going
   on, so I’ll change themes and let you know.
