Thanks for that- really useful. As it says, there are people who think its ok to just steal your work- and in this case actually put his own name to it.

This isnt work that was stolen from my blog-I dont actually have one- he posted it to his own blog- from my article on the Ezine web site.

I have tried to contact him in the first instance- but there are no links to do that. I have also sent a message to http://www.webdesigncreatives.com/ – the blog has a link to them on the bottom. No response.
I have been told to get the ISP – and report it to them- but dont know where to find that?
He seems to know what he is doing- cant contact him!

Anyone know how I get his ISP? I dont even know which country he is in- pressume I need that for the ‘cease and desist’ order I saw mentioned.

    Many thanks

That article I linked to includes some links (under “Tracking Down the Source and Taking Action”) to resources that you can use to track down the offender’s hosting company. No one here has access to that person’s site, so there’s very little we can do to help you directly.

The offending blog is hosted on blognows.com – you could try contacting them to report it and ask for the blog to be shut down. Not sure how helpful that would be though, as it seems to only have 2 members, admin and your content thief! You can find the site owner and host details via http://whois.domaintools.com/blognows.com
