http to https = SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

I inadvertently changed my site in General settings to https, not realizing it did not have SSL installed, now I can’t access my wp-admin at all. My hosting provider has been no help at all, they advised me to go to a forum. All the fixes I’ve found have me replacing items in .htaccess, wp-config.php, vars.php and phpMyAdmin but none of those have the items suggested to replace. I’m more designer than techy and I hesitate to add code vs replacing it. Help!
