I keep getting this error while uploading pictures. What can I do? I googled a few things, but I want something simple and straight to the point. What can I do?

    What is this all about?

I've encountered that myself before. It could be a plugin or theme issue. Try switching to the default twentyten or twentyeleven theme and see if goes away. You could also try disabling plugins to see if they're the culprit. In my case it was an issue with a theme.

I tried changing the theme and it didn't work either with the browser or flash uploader. I have not had trouble with site in two years until tonight.

.htaccess is a file in the same directory as wp-config.php it tells the web server different configurations.
