# HTTP Error When Uploading Images

 * Hello,
 * I get an error when uploading an image through ClassifiedsWP.
 * I am logged into an account. When I’m on the page to make a classified post, 
   I select “Add Media” to add an image. The WordPress media upload screen shows
   up. I browse my local computer and select a small jpg file. The image seems to
   upload, but I then get an error and the image is not added to my media library
   or on the classified ad page. The error says “HTTP error”.
 * If I upload the file to the WordPress media library first, then select it from
   the library when making a new classified post (instead of uploading it), everything
   works fine.

 * That’s strange. Does this happen with any image? Can you try following the suggestions
   on this [post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/http-error-when-uploading-images-17?replies=76),
   mainly, this [one](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/http-error-when-uploading-images-17?replies=76#post-7578975).
 * Please let us know if it worked.

 * Hm, I tested this out with another browser and it worked. I’m not sure what it
   was, but I suspect it was my adblocker that was causing the issue. It’s weird
   because I was able to upload the image through the WordPress dashboard, but not
   through ClassifiedsWP.
 * I marked the topic as resolved. I’ll follow up if I find out any additional details.
