# HTTP Error uploading MP3 files (4.1)

 * Hi there,
 * I have a 64MB limit for media uploads and though I used to be able to upload 
   our sermons (MP3 files) through the media uploader, I haven’t been able to in
   the past month. Our sermons are usually under 50MB so it shouldn’t be a problem.
   Now I have to manually upload via FTP.
 * I can only upload MP3 files that are about 7MB or less using the media uploader.
   Anything higher gets me an “HTTP Error” message.
 * PLEASE HELP! This is very frustrating.
 * Oh, and yes, I already tried to deactivate all my plugins, use Twenty-Fifteen
   theme, etc. and nothing worked.

 * Could it be a time out error? Have you tried switching Debug mode on through 
   the wp-config.php file and see if it’s throwing an error that more descriptive.

 * Thank you for your response. No, it wasn’t a timeout error. It turned out that
   my WordPress tmp file kept getting full b/c it had a 125MB max. DreamHost was
   able to change that to unlimited so now I can upload anything. 🙂

 * Just FYI, all shared servers have that 125MB limit.
 * VPS, Dedis and DreamPress are always something we can increase for you 😀 Just
   pop us a ticket and we’re happy to help (a 50MB file takes upwards of 90MB of
   temp space when being processed).
