# Http error uploading images

 * I am getting an HTTP error when I try uploading a few images and cannot for life
   of me get them uploaded. I have tried them multiple times with no success. They
   are all jpg images. Any suggestions?

 * You may need to contact your hosts about this. It’s usually a server issue – 
   commonly a problem with the mod_security settings on the server.

 * It is using version 5.3.26.

 * i contacted my host and they verified that it was an issue with the smush.it 
   plugin. Thanks for all your suggestions.

 * I just tried it after they told me it was an issue with the plugin, and that 
   was not the issue. I got the error again right away.

 * I had the same issue and our support at our hosting company found the problem.
   Here is their fix:
 * While checking I am able to find some conflicting mod_sec rule for the domain
   internationalpress.org. I have disabled the rule for the domain now. Please monitor
   the site and update us if you feel any performance issue.
 * Have your hosting company check to see if their Mod Security is causing this 
   issue. Mine works fine now.
