# HTTP Error since 4.4.1 upgrade

 * I have begun getting an unspecified “HTTP Error” when I try to upload photos 
   since I upgraded to WP 4.4.1
 * The images are small (under 200 KB)
 * When I de-activate Jetpack Version 3.8.2 the problem resolves.
 * PHP Version is 5.3.6
    max_execution_time is 300 memory_limit is 128M
 * Any advice / fixes would be appreciated.

 * Upgrade to the latest version of Jetpack 3.9.0.
    If problem continues, post on
   the [Jetpack Support Forum](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack) and
   the Jetpack developers would have a better idea of how to solve this issue.

 * I see Jetpack has released version 3.9.0 – for some reason I have not been offered
   an update.
 * I’ll try updating manually, and see if that fixes things.

 * Attempting to activate the new version of JetPack crashed the MySQL server.
 * I’m now waiting for my host to re-start it.

 * Hmmm… could be something deeper here. Updating Jetpack should not have crashed
   the site.

 * You might be right – the site has been down for over an hour now, and the engineers
   haven’t been able to get it re-started.

 * Wait for their reply. There are other avenues to explore if your site is back
   up, but still has problems.

 * The site is finally back up, and I managed to activate Jetpack 3.9.0
 * It hasn’t fixed the problem, however.
 * I’ll post on the Jetpack forum as you suggest.
