• Out of nowhere (no new plugins or updates) my media library decided to give me an HTTP error. I mainly use .png files to upload. However, .jpg files give me the same error.

    I found out that some random files do work, but most dont. And I cant figure out what the difference is why one file does work and the others dont.

    Ideas? Whelp!

  • What’s the HTTP error your getting?

    Do you have the correct CHMOD permissions?

    Your website URL?

    It just says http error, no code or anything. And yes the permissions are correct.

    the website is http://www.calimecreate.com

    I have been playing with file size in the mean time as well, as I found that in an old topic. Smaller size files (in dimentions) seem to have more chance of working, but again, it’s not working for all the files so I do not know what it is that it works for some files and not for others.

    I’m having the same issue. Were you ever able to figure it out?

    I was just able to solve the issue for myself. I added the following to my wp-config.php file:
    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);

    No I haven’t. But im beginning to suspect my router, because I cant seem to upload things to a lot of other websites. My husband is getting a new router, so hopefully that will solve the problem.
