# HTTP error on image upload.

 * Hi there,
 * I’m getting a HTTP error when I try to upload a new image to the media library.
   It seems to upload relatively quickly according to the progress bar, but then
   never gets to the crunching part.
 * Not sure what’s going on. Images are definitely not too large (around 90k)
 * I recently had a problem with permalinks and re uploaded some fresh copies of
   WP files, taking care not to touch the wp-content folder.
 * Wondering if it could have something to do with the .htaccess file? I’m a total
   novice, so not sure what…
 * Any help appreciated. Thank you!

 * Oh, and I tried deactivating my child theme just in case, and it shouldn’t be
   the plugins or the WP version because none of that has changed at all since before
   I had the other problem with my permalinks. Everything else is the same.

 * I would check the error message in my web server’s log file, but not sure how
   to do that…

 * Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.

 * It was the ol’e mod security issue. My host support was able to fix the problem
