# HTTP error. can’t upload video

 * Hello, I try to upload video 155 mb and I can’t because I get this error, how
   to fix it?

 * That’s a pretty large file. I would try manually uploading the file to your server
   through [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients), then use a plugin
   such as [Add From Server](https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-from-server/) to 
   import the file directly from the server into WordPress.

 * I add file like that, but then I can’t make preview pic by Video Embed & Thumbnail
   Generator and it doesn’t show views count…

 * Did you use the plugin Add From Server after uploading it with STFP or FTP? That
   is what actually brings it into your WordPress media library. The Video Embed&
   Thumbnail Generator says,
 * > This plugin adds several fields to any video uploaded to the WordPress Media
   > Library.
 * It doesn’t sound like that will import it from the server, only what has already
   been uploaded.
