# HTTP Error – Adding an image to a post

 * When i click on the add an image icon when typing a post, the uploader screen
   appears, i click “Choose files to upload”, select my file and hit ok.
 * Then a progress bar appears which says “crunching”, that stops and i get a message“
   HTTP Error”.
 * My browser is firefox and also tested it in IE6. Anybody know why?

 * Also my wordpress site is on a subdomain if this has any bearing on things?
