# HTTP error when uploading mp3 files

 * New to WordPress so please be easy on me.
 * I am working on uploading mp3 files that are rather large since they are hour
   long audio files (6-8MB each) and I keep getting an HTTP error.
 * I have installed a Upload Max File Size Plugin and set the size to 10MB
 * I am using a purchased theme from outside WordPress. I have tried disabling any
   and all plugins with no success. I’m not super savvy with back end settings so
   any suggestions and help, please be very specific. Thank you!

 * It may be possible that it’s a result of your hosting company ignoring the Upload
   Max File Size plugin. I would contact your hosting company to see if they can
   help you increase the upload files size. More information can be found near the
   bottom of the plugin description page here. Hope this helps.
