    Hi there, greetings from Brazil!
I’m having some issues with Jetpack. I get the “HTTP Error 500.0 – Internal Server Error – C:\PHP_5.2\php-cgi.exe – The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout” everytime I try to connect Jetpack. I updated the plugin right now, but still doesn’t work. My blog is: http://eulalios.net/boutiquedoacucar – WP 4.4.2. I have another blog, the http://eulalios.net/eueeu,also working on WordPress 4.4.2, updated Jetpack now, and is working just fine. I’ve already turned off all my plugins, changed the theme to the same I have at “eueeu”, but didn’t work. Could you please help me?? In time, I had updated WP to 4.5, but the dashboard got bugged, so I returned to 4.4.2.
    Hope you can help me.
    Thank’s for now!

disabling ‘publicize’ in jetpack made it work for me, now to work out what’s causing the problem and get it fixed

    Sorry for the trouble!

To get rid of the error, you can log in to your site via FTP or CPanel, and delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder:

You’ll find the Jetpack plugin folder here:

    wp-content
       plugins
         jetpack - DELETE THIS FOLDER

If you’re not sure how to do this, you can ask your hosting company for help. They should also have documentation explaining how to edit or remove files from your site using FTP or a File Manager in your admin panel.

After that’s done, you can reinstall the version of Jetpack prior to 4.0, which is 3.9.6. You can download it here:

    https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.3.9.6.zip

3.9.6 will ask you to upgrade to 4.0, but just ignore that for now until the GitHub issue above is resolved.

We’re also working on a new release to fix the problem, and you can follow our progress here:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/3697

I’ll also post again here once that release is ready.

    Sorry again for this!
