    Hello,

Few minute ago I updated ocean extra plugin. Everything works fine except edit page/post. It gives error “Website is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500”.

I checked the issue uninstalling other plugins but after uninstalling ocean extra, Issue has been fixed.

Currently I have uninstalled ocean extra plugin. Please fix this error so that i can use ocean extra again.

    Kind Regards,
    Amit

Hello, can you try to increase your PHP max memory limit? Because in the new version of Ocean Extra, I have just added new settings in the OceanWP Settings metabox.
Also, what is your PHP version? If you can, and if it is not, increase it to the latest PHP version.

One question, have you updated OceanWP to 1.4.1? I ask you this because an user had the exact same issue , he have just updated the theme and the issue was fixed.

Yes, I increased php memory but no result.
I have not updated oceanWP theme. I made some changes in oceanWP theme and if i update the theme all custome codes will be lost. Therefore i did not update theme. Let me know how if there is any option to update the theme without losing custom changes made in theme ?

    Thanks
    Amit

The issue is fixed in the last release of Ocean Extra.
You have made changes directly in the theme core?
If you want to change some things in a theme, you need to use a child theme, that is its purpose, to not lost the changes with an update. So put all the changes you have made in the core theme in a child theme, then update OceanWP.

Okay, first let me check on local environment. After that i will made changes in live website.

    Thanks

It is very important to never modify the theme, you must absolutely use a child theme, if I update the theme to fix a security issue, you will not be able to update it because you have modified it so your site will be vulnerable.

Hi, have you tried to disable your plugins to see if it is a conflict? Because there is nothing after the logo by default.

Error occurred due to retina logo. After removing retina logo in customize section, bug disappeared. Please cross check all the theme and plugin before releasing new version.

    Thanks for your support.

    Hi, you’re welcome πŸ™‚
I have improved this setting but if you have edited the core theme or added the logo.php file in your child theme, that is why you have this issue, you will need to take the latest files in your child theme.
You can see there is no array word in all the demos and the theme is updated.

Yes I have added logo.php file in my child theme.

I answered to your other topic to only have one topic by issue.
