# HTTP Error 500 – server error

 * I keep getting this error (in Chrome and just a blank page in Firefox) about %
   80 of the time whenever I try to do anything in my WP admin windows: uploading
   files, updating posts, changing setting and clicking save options, etc. It is
   quite frustrating. Usually the second time I try it works, but it’s pretty frequent
   and anything I’ve entered or written is lost and I have to start over again.
   
   What is going on here?
