    Hi,

    after updating to 3.2.20 I get an http error 500 in the WordPress Backend.
    I restored a backup of the whole site and updated all neccessary plugins one after another. Again after update of “Theme and plugin translation for Polylang (TTfP)” I got error 500.
    No big deal for me – honestly I don´t even remember why I once installed the plugin and everything seems to be translated well. But I thought you should know.

    What can I tell you?
    WordPress 6.1.1 – Theme ENFOLD, LiteSpeed webserver, PHP 8.0.26

  • I am having problems too with the last release. I get this error

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /var/www/html/test/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 301

    If I downgrade to 3.2.19 all works fine.

    @rainerknappe please before update to 3.2.20 select only necessary themes and plugins in tab: “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mlang_import_export_strings”
    Languages > ‘Export/import translations’

    thank you for your reply.
    I tried again – i did not select anything at all under themes and plugins.
    After update to 3.2.20 again I get the http 500 error and need to restore an update.

    I can’t reproduce this error.
    Can you provide me more inforamation?
    Do you have any error message in your logs?

    I cannot access anything after the update.
    Ok, I could have looked via ftp on the server.
    But now I have just restored everything and do not want to do it again.
    As I have mentioned before I do not really need the plugin (anymore).
    Maybe what @2candela2 wrote helps.

    I have this problem too! It’s terrible! Our online store was down for a whole hour while I was looking for the cause of the error. And only after I disabled this horrible plugin did the error disappear!
    It is completely irresponsible to provide updates that break the website and prevent access to the administrative panel!

    @mswebadm I can’t replicate this error and that’s why it’s so complicated for me…
    to develop this plugin I spend my free time 🙁

    @marcinkazmierski You know, it is better not to waste your free time on something that will harm others!

    I also spent my free time trying to find the cause of the error. And you know, doing it at a time when my city finally has electricity (greetings from Ukraine) is not what I should have been doing today!

    I want to say that I am very grateful for all the work that you and so many other developers do in their spare time.

    What I remembered now: I used to use your plugin for translating a plugin which I do not use any more.
    Maybe just a stupid thought: can it be possible, that your plugin tries to translate strings that aren´t there anymore?

    By the way: the plugin for which I used TTfP was Ultimate Product Catalog.

    @marcinkazmierski thanks again.
    I have just tested the last version 3.2.23 and now I don’t get the memory exausted error when going to admin pages!!!
    you are a crack! 🙂

    @mswebadm please, I can understand you were nervous, but @marcinkazmierski has given to you for NO MONEY the plugin. So… please, more respect and gratitude.

    @rainerknappe “can it be possible, that your plugin tries to translate strings that aren´t there anymore?” no, this is not possible 😉
