    Hi,

    I updated Hueman theme from the wordpress admin panel. I found that it will be an issue if we updated the theme from the panel after that. And it does, I got HTTP 500 error page in both my website and admin site are now blank. I’ve followed the guides on one of the post here, downloaded Hueman theme from http://alxmedia.se/themes/hueman/ and replace the files in my wwwroot.

    It still giving me the same error page. Anyone please help!

  • Hi,

    I would try deleting the theme folder manually via FTP, and then re-uploading it.

    Check path where you upload theme

    @cyin

    Are you using a dedicated server (VPS)?
    If so, please once check is the server is up and running.

    Same thing happened with us. We were able to login to our FTP, but the site was not pulling up and giving the error.
    The service provider team suggested to check and yes it was not running, once we started it, it started to work fine.

    If you are using a shared hosting, may be some files must have broken.
    I would advice before deleting and re-uploading take backup of everything. So that you are on the safe side.

    @alexander Agnarson, yes, I did delete the theme and re-upload it via FTP. It still error.

    The path is correct. And the server team has checked the server. IIS is running.

    But, finally I’ve managed to solve it by replacing it with 1.3.3 version instead of 1.3.4.

    Thanks everyone! 🙂
